Serie A side demands €30million for star
Fork out €30million if you want Domenico Berardi, Sassuolo have demanded.
The 23-year-old forward is believed to have resisted a move to Serie A opponents Fiorentina and AC Milan favoring a move to AS Roma instead.
Sassuolo sporting director Giovanni Carnevali insisted they will not be short-changed to part ways with their primed asset.
"There is no situation at the moment. Roma has talked to the entourage of the player, but we have never received an offer. We do not have much intention to deprive ourselves of Berardi because we have already sold [Matteo] Politano. If there should be an offer we will evaluate it, but if for Politano we have received €28million, Berardi is not worthless. We'd want about €30million," he told Corriere dello Sport.
Berardi is hoping to be reunited with his former boss Eusebio di Francisco at Roma.
