Hazard ready for Barcelona move
Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has reportedly agreed on a transfer to Barcelona this summer instead of Real Madrid.
The Belgium captain has another two years left on his contract at Chelsea, but has refused to agree on a contract extension due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the club.
Hazard has also announced himself that he will not be ruling out a move this summer and has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid over the past year.
The 27-year-old’s prospects of sealing a “dream” transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu have improved following Cristiano Ronaldo’s sale to Juventus earlier this week.
But now it has been reported that Hazard has signed for Barcelona in a €90m deal.
Hazard is currently still at Russia in the World Cup and will play his final game of the tournament with Belgium in their third-place playoff against England on Saturday, following their elimination at the hands of France on Tuesday.
